A woman with Afro hair and a beautiful 70’s inspired dress rides a paintbrush, pointing towards her creator. Her right hand is a replica of the hand reaching out to God in michealangelos painting “The creation of Adam”. If you remember, the paintbrush being a symbol of the tools we possess to create our own destiny. She is using the tools she possesses to reach for God. Wearing garments reminiscent on the 1970’s a time when black women were fighting for racial, gender and economic justice.
